Italian Bakery’s Mercato is not only committed to family, quality ingredients, and great food, but also to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.

Each year we receive a massive number of requests for donations. While we would like to be able to grant each and every request, unfortunately it’s not possible. As a result, we have established a charitable giving policy to make sure the donated dollars and items make the most impact possible.

Eligibility Criteria for Sponsorship

To be considered for funding or sponsorship an organization must be in good financial standing, have a mission statement focused on our local communities, and be Edmonton/St. Albert based.

When donating items or sponsoring an event, the location and scale of said event will be considered.

If you meet the criteria, please fill out the form below as completely as possible and we will enter your event into consideration. Only considered events will be contacted.

Priority will be given to organizations and charities involved with initiatives that align with our values, these include:

Sick Kids
Veterans
Kids lunch programs
Mental health/Healthcare
Seniors
Food Bank
Education
Programs for at risk youth or low to moderate income individuals or families

Programs or services outside our area
Funding of Trips, Corporate Conferences
Direct donations only. No 3rd party fundraisers
Funding for individuals
Religious organizations for non charitable purposes
Political causes, candidates, organizations or campaigns
Employee Christmas parties
Corporate events for profit
Organization must not have received another donation from us in that calendar year
Must receive applications at least 30 days in advance of events
